Baseball, Cricket, Soccer & Football Fields

Franklin Park is a great place for an informal ball game with your friends.

There are baseball fields on the Playstead, the huge field, between White Stadium and the Zoo.  The Playstead is also used for Sunday Cricket games, an ultimate frisbee group, and a rugby league. Local schools, Boston Latin Academy, Mother Caroline Academy, and others use the Playstead for afterschool sports. During spring and summer months Little League and adult baseball and softball leagues use the fields every night.

Another baseball diamond can be found at Ellicottdale, just down from the Resting Place / Shattuck Picnic Grove.

Boston Public School football teams use White Stadium for games. Come out in the fall for Friday night football games! All are welcome,tickets are usually $5.00.
