Corporate Relations
Corporations support the Franklin Park Coalition by donating time, funds, and in-kind items.
Volunteering
Corporate volunteer groups come to the park for clean-up days, to remove invasive species, pick up litter, rake leaves, and enjoy the experience of a pastoral park in the middle of the city. Become a corporate partner with a financial contribution and bring a group of up to 100 people to volunteer. It's a great opportunity for team building among your employees. To learn more, contact mail@franklinparkcoalition.org.
Financial Support
Corporate funding has supported our youth programs, Woodlands Restoration Campaign, and summer Playhouse in the Park. Whole Foods stores in Boston donated 5% of their profits for one day to restoring the Franklin Park woodlands. Timberland supported jobs for teens in the park last summer, while KeySpan/National Grid is a supporter this year.
Sponsorships
Corporate sponsorships bring great jazz to the park on summer nights and support volunteers. Become an Elma Lewis Playhouse in the Park sponsor and see your banner on the summer stage in Franklin Park. Or have your logo on the sleeve of youth t-shirts. Support the walks and tours program and see your company's name on park maps.
In-kind Donations
From leaf bags to new maintenance tools to food for hundreds of volunteers, corporations have a unique ability to provide simple, quick, easy support for FPC activities. Sappi Fine Paper Company donates tools, money, and volunteer labor. Dancing Deer Bakery contributed cookies to Nature's Gems, an art exhibit of park-inspired work. Dunkin Donuts gives hundreds of free donuts for volunteer days. Suffolk Construction Company removed a park eyesore, non-functional park bathrooms covered with graffiti. Franklin Park brings together the diverse communities around the park. Involving local and corporate businesses in fabric of our community is one of our goals. Come out on a walking tour, attend a Playhouse concert in the summer, help cut back knotweed and other invasive plants--we invite you, your colleagues, your corporation, and your family to become part of the fabric of Franklin Park.
