At First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, ministry for children is vibrant and energetic, and offers countless opportunities for families with children from birth through 5th grade, to grow in the faith together, and individually.

Pre-K Bible Sunday

On Sunday, January 25, all Pre-Kindergarten children will have the opportunity to participate in a faith milestone celebration, Pre-Kindergarten Bible Sunday. First Presbyterian Church desires for each of our children to have their own Bible. The Pre-K children will receive their Bibles as a gift from the congregation during the 9 a.m. or 11 a.m. worship service on Jan. 25, 2026.

Childcare for 2 months through Kindergarten

9:00 a.m.

Sunday School

2-year-old – 5th grade.

Childcare provided for 2 and under in Nursery
Doors open at 8:45 a.m.

10:00 – 10:45 a.m.

Godly Play

Pre K – 3rd Grade

Sunday School Teachers Needed

Do you have a heart for children and a passion for sharing God’s love? We are seeking caring, enthusiastic volunteers to join our Sunday School team. Whether you are an experienced teacher or simply love children and want to grow in faith, there is a place for you.

There are many ways to get involved. Volunteers are needed to teach or assist with preschool and elementary classes. All lessons and materials are provided. This is a wonderful opportunity to lead Bible stories, crafts, music, and games while being a consistent, loving presence in a child’s faith journey.
